Looked to me like he forgot what team he was on. Seemed almost embarrassed afterward.

            He did look pretty embarrassed.

            It was awesome.

Career? This year? Just in the majors?

              • Justin Masterson has turned out alright with those splits. I am happy with a club controlled version of Justin Masterson and $35 million dollars for Hanley Ramirez.

Also happy with a David Hernandez in the pen as those RHP splits would kill people in the 7th/8th along with Cishek.

                • I was just pointing out his stats this year. It's not really anything other than that. I'm absolutely fine with the deal and think he can be a nice addition.

I just put up the splits because they're rather indicative on how he can improve. It would be nice if he developed another pitch. If not, he's certainly a fit in the backend of the bullpen.

                    Pretty small sample size, then.

                    From 2011-12 in the minors:

                    Vs. LHB: 57 K, 30BB, 2 HR in 60 2/3 innings; 49.1% GB; .211/.312/.294
                    Vs. RHB: 72 K, 29 BB, 3 HR in 77 1/3 innings; 47.9% GB; .215/.288/.305
                    --------------------
Also, he had a better K:BB ratio last season vs. LHP last season in the majors (in an admittedly tiny sample).

I'm not sure it's anything at this point.

Hanley Ramirez will wear number 13 tonight and he is asking Tommy Lasorda if he can wear his number 2, that would be a great privilege
If that's true, Hanley has some big huevos.

                        • 2 run homer in the 10th inning in San Francisco, absolutely smoked. Good for him.

                            • Two games: it's not a HUGH sample size.

Can we wait till he goes on an extended run before we slob his knob?
