I'm actually intrigued to see the Royals mentioned so much I looked at the prospects on MLB.com's listing.
Christian Colon solves the 2B need; he's in AA with a decent line. Write up says he's less tools and more feel for the game. He just got back from a foot injury. Colon is listed 8 on their ranking.
Wil Myers ranked 2 looks like a good bat. He's listed as an outfielder says he should fit in right field well. He's appeared in quite a few games in center based on the b-r.com breakdown. Also looks like he was drafted as a catcher but he had a knee injury last season and never caught a game above A ball. (I like that emergency catcher luxury.) He also appeared in 4 games at third this year so makes me wonder what happened in those games to why he was playing there. Oh and did I mention he lit up AA to open the season to a tune of a 1.146 OPS and then continued that in AAA with a .922 OPS this year. Only looks like he struggled to hit during his first stint at AA in 2011 before the knee injury posting a .745 OPS. He's definitely the guy I would want if dealing with the royals at first glance. But there would be a lot of ifs about him with where he would play.
They also have a lot of pitchers. It certainly looks like a team that could match up in a trade. But why the hell would they be interested unless just looking to buy low.
