  • At the Midway Point. Worse Signing, Reyes or Bell ?

Factor in money, performance, and were they ever even needed.

I know one person will maybe say Reyes.

But it's Bell, and it's not even close.

It's Bell by a LANDSLIDE, boys.

Reyes will have a big 2H

I've been too depressed to visit here in two months. Watch every game but I would just rather be 20 games under than have potential and just cough up game after game. To me it's Reyes. Wrong move for what this team needed in the offseason.

The team needed a third baseman. They got one by moving Hanley to 3rd. So you're wrong.

It's Bell. Reyes isn't even a bad signing in my mind.

We could have gotten a third baseman with Hanley's numbers for pennies. Then kept Hanley at SS. Used the left over Reyes money for many things.

Reyes is still a fine sign

Bell and it's not even close.

Wait just a minute, how can anyone be saying the Reyes signing was "fine" or "good" ? What am I missing, seriously ?

I think they were both great signings, especially the Bell signing.

He has a .770 OPS since June 1. Stop reacting to two bad months in a six-year contract.

He struggled at the beginning. He's been fine since about Mid May. Relax.

ignore the .334 OBP, 1.4 WAR, 20 steals, etc. That's fine.

He's been worth roughly $6.2 million so far this season. I'm fine with it.
