Nice win. Bell was better than that 9th inning indicated.

    I don't think he was.

He had three strikes that weren't called because Hayes didn't catch them right.

        Well, yeah.

But that Lopez 2B was smoked, the 2nd out was a nice play by Murphy and the Choo flyball wasn't exactly weak contact.

It was a mediocre outing that resulted in a save, showing why the save stat can sometimes be worthless.

Good to see another quality start by JJ.

JJ's fastball was averaged 93.5 today, down just .2 from last year.

          That's cool.

He hit 95 in some of the middle innings. He didn't have the greatest of control today either but still was good.

He looked much better and more comfortable out there than I've seen him at all this year. He pitched with a much better rhythm and he looked pretty close to effortless.

What did Bell do anyway? I missed it.

Bell is still not missing bats but at least he isn't walking people.

I think Bell will be fine, eventually.

                    He's basically Matt Capps now.

Any numbers in where he's locating them?
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.
