No, we knew what was up.

tr305, why did you try selling your tickets for that much?

It's fucking May. Anyone who pays more than $30 to go to a baseball game in May is stupid anyway.

No offense to anyone here that I don't dislike.

Maine: Bad effort. I like you but don't quit your day job.

34k today is great considering it's a day game and it was a beautiful beach day. The Mets aren't exactly the draw they were 3 years ago.

We are 10th in filling our ballpark at home with a percentage of 82.3

Teams in front of us are: Phillies, Red Sox, Giants, Cards, Cubs, Rangers, Brewers, Twins, Tigers.

I don't see anything wrong with our attendance. Oh, and the three teams behind us are the Yanks (80.8), Angels (74.0) and Dodgers (68.8).

If people are like me, then they look for the best deal on stubhub. This is why I didn't get season tickets because I knew they'd be cheaper on stubhub. I have been to six games thus far and any seat is a good seat. There are great views from every seat.

So yeah, I look on stubhub and wait to get the best/cheapest deal.

I don't understand why people think that they are ever going to get back face value on a resale for a regular season baseball game. The games are not sold out. So, People can still buy tickets off of the marlins website. Why would the average fan use stub hub unless they thought they could get a great deal?

Well the regular season face value (ticketmaster) vs season ticket face value is slightly different.

But you still have to charge extra on stub hub to make up for te charges from then.

As a season ticket holder, I am well aware of this fact. However, that slight difference is not going to be enough for people to go to stubhub first over the official website in my opinion.

When you buy season tickets, I feel like you pretty much have to assume that any games that you won't be going to are going to be sold at a loss or given to friends and family.

If you bought season tickets to make a profit, I have a bridge I'd like to sell to you.

How much did you pay for the bridge? I'll take it for twice that if you throw in parking.

Aren't you people tired of talking about attendance?

For once, our attendance is good and yet people are still complaining that it's not great. We are coming off a decade of the worst attendance in the league and having no season ticket base. You can't expect sellouts every night when you have to make up that much ground. Yes, it's a new ballpark, but go look at the first season attendance numbers when new ballparks opened in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Washington, Detroit, Houston, and Pittsburgh....we are right in line with those cities.

Our attendance is fine and it'll get better as the team starts playing better and school gets out.
