a shame those $29 tickets aren't available tomorrow

(edit: I highlights all the sections behind homeplate, gold and blue)
Tickets for tomorrow's game also far cheaper on stubhub than today's tickets.

91.2 percent capacity of the smallest park in the NL last night.

OK, I'm terrible at math, but if we hold 37,000 and we had 30,1something last night, that's six thousand under capacity. Six thousand is 20% of 37,000. That's 80%, not 90%.

Beef, I swear they were $49 and then with 5 minutes to go until 11:05am they dropped to $29 with parking pass. I am almost postiive it was row C.

Still, when you take out the first series (Since it was the first series of the year), the first Mets home Friday game last season had 18k.

I think they're thrilled with the attendance numbers so far.

Samson has sure sounded pleased during his weekly show with LeBatard. I think you are crazy if you expected frequenct sell outs. I think they are in great shape right now anyways.

Swifty: The tickets I looked at were C or E (definitely not a number) but I promise you with 3 or 4 minutes to go they hit 29 and had parking pass. that's a clearance of a bout 50 bucks after stubhub gets their profit. People are taking a major hit. Mine are down the line and I started at 50 and kept lowering until I hit 25 bucks with 5 minutes to go. No one bit. The tickets are sitting on my desk now with no one using them. No reason to buy tickets next year if you can't get them this cheap on stubhub.

How much are your tickets at face value?

$22. I have to sell at $35 a piece on stubhub to get my $59 back. I tried $25 today which would have been a $16 loss on what I paid. Still no takers.

So you tried to sell them below face value for 5 minutes?

What's crazy is the stadium seems packed each night so I have no idea where all these people are getting tickets if almost 2,000 are going to waste on Stubhub each day. Are people just buying through ticketmaster ? If so they could get a much better deal on stubhub.
