Heath Bell looked the best he's looked all year. Obviously doesn't win his closer job off of one outing, but I say he gives us 2-3 more like that and he's got his job back. The Heath Bell from yesterday was this ball club needed, hopefully he's back.. The Heater was outstanding, what did he hit, 94-96?

I wouldn't say he looked GOOD, but he was decent. Probably his best start of the year.

While I'm very happy we won all those games, I'm still VERY worried about our offense. But seeing Bell pitch well was very encouraging.

I'm worried about the offense (especially if there are playoff aspirations) but I'm comforted by the fact that Zambrano is our 5th starter.

The offense picked it up a little bit on the road trip. It's obviously not where we'd like it to be, but it has improved.

Also, like what Namaste said. The fact that the starting rotation is so good softens the blow of the lineup's struggles. We might be able to get away with not having the incredible offense we expected with how outstanding the pitching staff is.
