Offense is mighty frustrating right now.

That game fucking sucked. JJ looked great, nothing else.

This offense is highly concerning. A few of these guys haven't done anything going back to June of last year.

you mean going back to June 8th when Eduardo Perez was inexplicably hired?

Well probably before that. Because the offense had to suck to get Mallee fired.

Gaby and LoMo to be specific. This offense isn't going to work with those two being absolute albatrosses.

Does it say something when a line-up made up of castoffs Beinfest was 'forced' into was better offensively than a Beinberg custom lineup?

I'm not a guy who thinks that coaches have THAT much impact, but:

                    Marlins OPSes under John Mallee

                    June 2010: .777
                    July 2010: .663
                    August 2010: .735
                    Sept/Oct 2010: .720
                    April 2011: .715
                    May 2011: .705

                    1 of 6 months under .700

                    Marlins OPSes under Eduardo Perez
                    June 2011: .624 (!)
                    July 2011: .777
                    August 2011: .697
                    September 2011?: .721
                    April 2012: .690

                    3 of 5 months under .700

Mallee got fired much quicker for much less

Well Gaby has a history of being bad the 2nd half of the year. LoMo's approach has been fine this year, just getting a bit unlucky with some hard hit balls.

                        Pitcher - QS - W
                        Buerhle - 3 - 1
                        Anibal - 3 - 1
                        JJ - 3 - 0
                        Z - 2 - 0
                        Ricky - 1 - 2

So we've managed to get 3 wins out of 12 quality starts. Wonderful.

Eduardo couldn't hit well during his own career

LoMo hasnt been all that bad this year. The power will come.

I'm guessing you are trying to make a joke but there's plenty of coaches that were average or below average that went on to be good coaches.
