It is pretty funny to get upset about others when they use stupid sample sizes and then bring up a sample size of 20 at-bats to prove how much a player sucks. Because he hits 6 groundballs to 2B.

Chris Coghlan does suck though. And he's incapable of keeping his front side closed and not pulling off the ball. It's why he hits dem weak dribblers to second.

He's also been doing that for a lot longer than 20 at bats.

It was stupid. It was actually irrelevant, really. If those 6 groundballs squeak past the 2B, he probably doesn't even say anything.

I'm just not ready to write him off yet. He sucked last year, yes. In a partial year, not like it was 600 PA of being garbage.

And he was pretty bad at the start of 2010, but he also hit .312/.394/.480 over his final 200 PA before getting hurt.

I'm with Hugg, though with the way Infante's playing, I don't know if Coghlan has a spot on this team (though I'd be OK with dangling Gaby and a starter and opening LF).
