You don't think the backloaded contracts have more to do with baseball's upcoming TV rights contract than Maury Brown's blow it up conspiracy?
I personally think it's fine to pay a person in 2018 in 2012 dollars if they're fine with it, but I don't think I'm quite ready to unequivocally trust this organization to be thinking like that...at least not yet.
