Even the radio guys were mentioning it. Did we really need to use our pen for 10 pitches each ? Just awful moves by Cora all around. Just stick with the hot hand for god sake.

By the way, the BOOS for Bell tonight were LOUD in there. Not sure if it came across on tv. Ouch.

Remember, the hot hand is hot until its not hot.

They have a ton of data at their disposal that the average viewer doesn't

          .
It's usually not a good idea to burn a reliever like that for no reason.

If you don't think Cora over managed, you don't understand the game.

That's the way most managers manage.

Everyone in the pen has a role. You don't mention this if Edward Mujica doesn't blow the lead tonight.

Yeah, 7 arms that will all still be available tomorrow because they weren't over worked. You lack intelligence.

Considering that the SP only went 5ip and the game went 11 innings I would say that using 7 pitchers is not absurd whatsoever. Right now with Juan-Carlos not around, if the Marlins are leading, the pen is Cishek 7th inning, Mujica 8th inning and Bell 9th inning. Its not like these guys only faced 1 batter each.

We can't use someone for the 7th and 8th if they are pitching well ?

It's not a great idea. Not with this much season left.

Because relievers aren't conditioned to normally go more than one inning.

This it too funny. The F'ing guy threw very few pitches. It was over managing no matter how you slice it.
