I understand Halladay, but Blanton? Come on.

And Hanley, I thought you shortened up your swing this spring. It looks exactly the same as last fucking year, guess you forgot what you learned in spring.

Hanley has had some of the best hit balls on the team so far so I have no idea what you are talking about. They just aren't falling yet.
            --------------------
I mean this is stupid to be getting upset about the offense this early in the season but I'll post it anyways.

Hanley so far in this early season has a 31.6% LD rate 42.1% FB rate and only a 26.3% GB rate.

The prior two years he had a GB rate of 50%+ so consider it a good sign that he's lifting the ball more already.
            --------------------
I forgot to mention he has a .167 BABIP so far as well, but again, we are getting upset about this stuff when they only have around 30 PA so far in the season(Hanley has 29).

Everything about Hanley at the plate has looked fantastic except what's happened after the ball goes into play. That bs isn't going to last, and he's going to have a monster year.

wow, I didn't know it was that low but I'm not surprised

He's had some really nice cracks at the ball this year

I never once thought to myself this year that Hanley looks like crap at the plate

Ace, lay off the crack pipe

Yea, I'm not too worried about Hanley. I'm worried about the offense as a whole.

And of course I do understand that we're only 30 PA's into the season, but I don't think we've seen anything to make us feel any better.

Teams go through slumps throughout the year, it just so happens that this one came at the start of the season.

                        I hope that's the case.

I'm sorry. I try to do better next time.

                          Thank you for the e-mail.

Hanley didn't write that. Hanley's here somewhere, let him answer for himself.
