0% chance Marlins don't get the tickets out in time. There should be no sweating involved.

Yes, exactly, at least here. The tickets books (2) and parking pass (for ticket book games) came, but the opening night tickets and parking pass has not yet arrived.

No, I have not received anything. Nothing. Three full season ticket books and parking, somewhere, without a tracking number.

Good so my conspiracy theory of them holding back for sales reasons is out the window.
          --------------------
if you paid after that due date back in Jan, they are supposed to go out a few days behind.

If you are missing your Opening Night tickets or Opening Night parking (if applicable), please follow the simple steps below to print your tickets/parking from your computer:
              1. Visit www.marlins.com/MyMarlinsTickets
              2. Click on "My Marlins Tickets" and enter your Account ID and Password to log in
              3. Click on "My Tickets"
              4. Expand the April 4th game by clicking the plus sign on the left
              5. Click on ONLY the missing Tickets/Parking
              6. Click on "Print"
              7. On the Print page Click on "Print"
              8. You will get a confirmation page with the ticket links and a confirmation email with the ticket links as well
              9. Click either the confirmation page ticket links or the confirmation email ticket links to print from your computer
PLEASE NOTE - If you utilize the above Print at Home Option, these new tickets or parking will be your valid tickets/parking.
              --------------------
That seems to be the email that was just blasted out. If true, this organization is pathetic.

I'm not sure how it's unrealistic or crazy to expect a business to handle their operations properly.
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

Guys, they just sent out a preemptive F-U email about getting hard copy tickets. I'm sorry but most Marlins fans would like to save this hard copy ticket and not some email print out. I wish the press would get a hold of this customer service boondoggle....

I don't think the operation has been handled improperly.

Is Jorge the only one to receive his opening day ticket?

It affords no possibility to cure a mistake by happening so close to the deadline.

That said, I have also never had season tickets. How late is this relative to other seasons? How late is it relative to other teams moving in to a new stadium? (you can't really compare an organization like the Red Sox where all of their season ticket holders have had them for decades and thus knows exactly what to expect with an organization that is getting a ton of new interest and brand new sales that presumably ramp up as the season approaches.)

I assume they held off until now because they thought they'd get more season ticket packages sold as more press centered on the ballpark and people got a chance to visit through things like FanFest or the soft openings.

                                Mainge,

Re-read this post and call me with your thoughts on how this operation has been handled.

Italians don't necessarily have to have parking.

They can romance their way into free parking.
