If it's the same set up as before, the parking are mass produced before the tickets (since they're not "specific"). The ticket books are printed in Canada.

This year, though, I was told the parking can be printed online, like the tickets (which is a new feature for parking). If all that's missing are the passes, that's easily correctible as there are tons of books available. If you miss the printing deadline for the season tickets, you're shit out of luck. In 2009, they forgot to print my books and just gave us ticketmaster tickets (which was just gross).

I am very nervous about this train wreck.

Still, I think I'd rather deal with this ordeal rather than have the Marlins move to a paperless season ticket like the Heat have. I like my ticket books, they're unique and just about the only reason to have season tickets in the era of easy aftermarket.

The parking passes I have are bar coded and can be transfered or sold on stubhub. In fact my tix are one of the few with parking included.

Mine too. You can print them online. You will be fine.

I don't think saying that expecting tickets to be delivered on time for a full-season ticket purchase is mean.

I also don't think it's mean to expect an organization to know how to deal with (1) anticipated demand and (2) production issues.

My opening day tickets are available online via My Marlins Tickets but I never received the hard copy which is BS.

They haven't been delivered on time? Wasn't aware Opening Night already happened.

They sent an email saying that I could expect mine between the 21st and 24th.
                      --------------------
And they also include the Yankees tickets. So really, there's 4 days left. That's cutting it super close. Especially when the organization necessitated payment for these in 2010. (Yes, 2010).

I'm willing to bet you'll get your tickets before first pitch on April 4th. Maybe I'd feel differently if I were in your shoes but it seems to me that there's a lot of whining going on here regarding non issues. Whatever though.

We're just getting anxious with the number of days until Opening Night winding down, that's all - we want to make sure we have our tickets and that everything is in order.

Also, to me sending things separately doesn't make sense......let's say John Smith ordered season tickets, parking passes, and opening night tickets - wouldn't it make sense to send them all in one package rather than some combination of 2 of the 3 coming at one time with the 3rd being delivered at another?

                          That's all we're saying.

Do you agree that the frustration is warranted, or do you see no problem there either?

I mean, hypothetically, if you bought something off eBay or any other e-commerce site, wouldn't you agree that the seller should at least be able to give you a competent update on the location of the item? I don't see how that's any different here.

I don't think it's reasonable for fans to get their tickets 2 days before Opening Night. Why should season ticket holders have to do any sweating?

                              Common one time.

So we are all in the same boat ? We got our books, parking and tickets.... with the exception of opening night ?
