    Marlins Outright Benjmin

    The Miami Marlins have out-righted left-handed pitcher Ramon Benjamin to Double-A Jacksonville. Benjamin, who spent time with Single-A Jupiter and Double-A last season, will miss the entire 2012 season due to shoulder surgery. The roster is down 38.

    Marlins sent LHP Ramon Benjamin outright to Double-A Jacksonville.
    The move clears him from the 40-man roster. Benjamin, 24, is expected to miss the entire 2012 season following shoulder surgery.

        24-year-old lefty who had a 3.75 ERA between Jupiter and Jacksonville last year. Not real sure why they added him to the 40, I don't think he was anything special.
