Just got all warm and fuzzy inside yesterday watching Stanton hit 2 HR’s and a double in Toronto.

Just thinking to myself, “someday Jeter will bring a player of that caliber to Miami”.

yes he will, but he also got off to a slow start last year (and every year really for that matter), so its not like those numbers were representative of what his finals numbers turned out to be. He'll be more than fine though, especially in that ballpark. He just needs to stay healthy.
