I really dislike those overlays. One of the big things the Mets did when signing Jason Bay was show how he'd have lost 3 homers (or something minuscule) because of Citi. They also tried doing it with Wright.

There's a lot that goes into where the ball ends up, it's not just purely distance.

I think we need to see what happens to the ball when it gets really hot down here, but other than that, the park definitely has problems. Some of the balls hit that turn into outs are LOL worthy.

Interesting enough, 19 home runs hit in 16 games this season in Citi. 1.2 per game.

108 in 81 games last season. 1.3 per game

Can't post it all because it's Insider, but Stanton and the new bark don't like each other. This is done using a HR factor of 75 for Marlins Park (which is up from what it's currently playing at: 70).

I find it crazy that they feel comfortable projecting park factors based on this small of a sample size.
