I hate the "disinterested" line. Hanley is a competitor. Dude isn't disinterested, he's just maybe not that good anymore.

or maybe he's bored like he was in AA in 05

This league bores him. Next stop, Japan!

            Certainly trending that way.

            Since 2010 (1,030 ABs, 1,170 PAs): .790 OPS, 112 OPS+, .437 SLG, 191 K's.

Juxtaposed with his career numbers: .879 OPS, 130 OPS+, .503 SLG.

            Really troubling.

              .289/.330/.489 in May.

He's coming around. I'd still like to see him take some more walks, though.

                His contact rates kinda suck.

                  Hanley's leg kick today:

versus his leg kick from earlier this year:

                  .

The shorter his stride, the earlier his foot comes down. If this is a designed change in his stride and not a fluky one game thing, it can only mean good things for Hanley.

Mainge, take a look at the leg kick in the first inning. Almost non-existent.

Leg kick in the first inning:

As Madman said, there really wasn't one. Good sign IMO.

I still don't know why he keeps the bat in his hand and stares the ball down after he hits it. Run Hanley Run!

                                Fun meaningless split:

Away OPS is .674, Home OPS is 1.034 (604 slugging)
