The Dirty Vs — Marlins outfielders Logan Morrison, Bryan Petersen invade Jupiter with Vespas
        by Joe Capozzi
This might be my favorite movie of 2012 so far. I’m betting you might agree.

Logan Morrison. Bryan Petersen. A pair of Vespas. Click the link below.

It’s the first of seven episodes called “The Petey & LoMo Show.”

The videos were shot in the Jupiter areas by Petersen’s Los Angeles-based film production company, Legit Films.

They will debut every Tuesday and Thursday on the SB Nation website.

“For us it’s like what you see is what you get,” Petersen said.

He knows that other teammates spend time away from the ballpark playing video games. “If we want to go out and film ourselves riding Vespas, my thumbs won’t get tired.”

Petersen wouldn’t share details on upcoming episodes other than to say several Marlins teammates will make cameos.

The next episode is Tuesday but Petersen said episode that will debut on Thursday is special.

“We’re going to try to take the world by storm on Thursday,” he said. “If you don’t laugh at that one, then there’s something wrong with you.”
I am looking forward to it.

              Guess this fits here.

The Marlins have a second outfielder whose tweets they may need to worry about.

Bryan Petersen, a 25-year-old outfielder with a shot of making the team as a bench player this spring, tweeted the following this evening:

"For those of u who think u have to hit .330 with 30 and 100 to have a life off the field, suck it. It’s not my fault u hate ur 9 to 5."

The sentiment isn’t so wrong. The delivery, though, could definitely use some work.

Oh, and just in case Petersen’s tweet wasn’t going to get enough attention with his 8,000+ followers, the game’s most notorious tweeting player, Marlins teammate Logan Morrison, retweeted it to his 93,000+ followers.

Petersen, for what it’s worth, was pretty impressive with his .265/.357/.387 line in 204 at-bats last season, though that came with all of 10 RBI (he hit .300 with the bases empty, .203 with runners on). He has a chance to be a pretty good part-timer going forward, but as far more of a fringe player than Morrison, he’s not going to get as much leeway for any missteps.
Bryan Petersen emulates Logan Morrison in all of the wrong ways

I do. He comes off as a tremendous douche. If you're going to talk to people like that when they talk crap about your performance, you need to find a new job.

Point of the story, shut the fuck up. Nobody wants to hear a person that gets paid to play a game talk shit about people who have actual jobs.

The "game" is his job. I get annoyed when people try to say that athletes have it easy when they are unaware of the type of work they have to put in year round, especially baseball players.

It's also terrible logic. Somebody could love their job and think he's bad at his. No relation to one another.

I mean, this is fair, but he also doesn't need to be criticizing other people's jobs, since his is kind of awesome.

It definitely makes him sound like an entitled jerk.

I don't care one way or the other, but it does.

I'm not surprised people would think it makes him look like a jerk but there are plenty of pieces of shit that make comments towards him and other athletes similar to him that just makes them sound jealous and pissed at them like it's their fault they aren't as well off. I have no problem with him making a comment back, regardless of his standing (financial and social) but I'm sure that I'm in the minority in that.

I mean, it's a certain breed of loser who tweets at players criticizing them.

I've never done it. I don't understand it. Those people are idiots.

Also, I love how everyone just says "they get to play a game" all the time.

                            This isn't the 1950s.

Their job is harder than mine.

Isn't part of that job to deal with that criticism in a professional manner, though?
