Anibal Sanchez felt some soreness behind his right shoulder after a throwing session Friday.
The Marlins are simply calling him day-to-day for now, but it's always a concern when a pitcher has an issue with his shoulder, especially when it's someone with a long injury history like Sanchez. The right-hander says he's not worried, though, and hopes to make his Grapefruit League debut next Friday. We'll keep an eye on his progress.

JUPITER, Fla. — Jose Reyes didn’t waste much time making his presence felt in the Marlins’ lineup.
In his first at-bat during an intrasquad scrimmage on Sunday, Reyes connected on a home run to right field off Ricky Nolasco at Roger Dean Stadium.
Reyes went deep on the second pitch in the bottom of the first inning.
The scrimmage initially was scheduled to be held on Field 2 at the Roger Dean Stadium complex. Due to a heavy downpour about 10 a.m., the club decided to play inside the main stadium.
The Marlins new ballpark has a colorful home run feature that will go off whenever a Miami player hits a home run.
The feature will be operating when the Marlins face the Yankees on April 1 in an exhibition.
During Saturday’s Jiffy Lube FanFest, team president David Samson said at a town hall-style meeting that it would be nice if Reyes got the feature going with a leadoff homer in his first at-bat.
Unofficially, Reyes hit a leadoff shot on Sunday.
