Big baller.

The Marlins have lost four the their last five arbitration cases.
Anibal Sanchez won his arbitration hearing Monday against the Marlins, securing $8 million for 2012.
Sanchez requested the $8 million figure and was offered $6.9 million when arbitration figures were exchanged last month. The 27-year-old right-hander registered a 3.67 ERA and 202/64 K/BB ratio in 196 1/3 innings last season and could take on ace-like fantasy value this year if the Marlins' new ballpark plays as big as its dimensions suggest it will. He's scheduled to hit the free agent market after the 2012 World Series.
