    Cishek is definitely one.

    LeBlanc probably another.

If Oviedo is kept and not restricted, there's only 1 bullpen spot "open"

      If he's not:
Locks (5): Bell, Choate, Dunn, Mujica, Webb
Candidates (2 spots): Cishek, LeBlanc, Ceda, Hatcher

Cishek, I would think, has the upper hand for a final spot. He had a great season last year.

Cishek did have a 1.17 whip in 55 innings and a 9 K/9. I'd say he's a lock, with Ceda's job to lose for the last spot. I think LeBlanc is SP6.

Also with payroll at $85, I kind of like the idea of keeping Oviedo. Keeps depth, he is easily tradable at the deadline for decent compensation with a good draft pick going to whoever trades for him as well. Adding him and Cishek to the locks is a pretty great bullpen.

Pretty much agree with all of that.
            --------------------
Well except the draft pick thing because I'm pretty sure players traded during the season are no longer compensation eligible.

You are correct. I really need to read and learn the new CBA.

Anyways, I still think Oviedo, assuming normal production, would be easily tradable at the deadline and net something, if they choose to keep him.

Is trahern still in the minors? If so he would be the last player in the organization from the miggy trade

I think you hold onto Oviedo just because you either keep him on the restricted list or trade him before the season is over.

Anyone hear about his ability behind the plate? He obviously hasn't done anything with that bat outside NYPL.

I believe Trahern became a MiLB free agent

I thought that Traherns friend said he retired.

Is that any season or just their walk year?

Walk year. If Marlins trade Infante this season, and plays all next season for new club, new club would be awarded draft pick compensation (assuming Infante meets all other requirements for compensation). If Marlins trade Infante next season, no draft pick compensation for new club.

                          That's what I assumed but I wasn't totally sure.

I'd be for it if Juanky was a better pitcher.

That Cabrera trade paid off in spades.
