YOU WENT ON AND ON AND ON AND ON ABOUT HOW IT WOULD BE LITERALLY ABSOLUTELY COMPLETELY 100% IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE MARLINS TO GET MARK BUEHRLE AND BASICALLY CALLED OTHER PEOPLE STUPID FOR THINKING IT A POSSIBILITY. WHAT YOU SAID LITERALLY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE INCORRECT. YOU CAN'T NOW JUST CHANGE THE ARGUMENT TO TRY TO ARGUE SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

There are some dumb folks here, but perhaps none as much as you and people won't fall for that and they also will realize how much of a joke and insult it is for someone like you to speak down to them like they are dumb for thinking it is possible for something that happened to happen.

For him to come to the Marlins, the teams in the midwest must have had zero interest as he would not have came to the Fish otherwise.

And I am not the worst.
Pretty sure the Cardinals were very interested.

      • Dont insult my intelligence. Going into the offseason I was expecting the White Sox to try and keep him and the Cardinals to try and acquire him. Those scenarios obviously didnt happen because if they had Mark Buehrle wouldnt have been a Miami Marlin. An average offer from either of those teams would have kept him in the midwest no matter what the Fish offered him.

The White Sox made Buerhle an average offer.

Furthermore, if you would have come to the thread and said "heh, guess I blew that one", you would have gotten plenty of dap for it. Instead, you come here and shit all over everyone again.

                • It's silly to say something like "don't insult my intelligence" and then say something really dumb with a conclusion based on nothing

                      • I'm not going to post the entire article because most of it's been covered but I found this interesting (and not for the reasons people will think).

Guillen says there is no disputing who will pitch on Opening Day. If healthy, it will be Josh Johnson, who will lead Miami's rotation. Buehrle, Ricky Nolasco, Anibal Sanchez and Chris Volstad will follow.
Buehrle back at Marlins park for introduction

Guillen would/will make Ricky the #3 ahead of Anibal? Interesting.

                          • Did we actually offer CJ 100mill ? the more I look at stuff coming out now the more I think we were never these "big spenders" being portrayed.

                            • Are you still somehow trying to claim this was a PR stunt?

                              • Haha, funny thing is that rotation might not include guys 3 & 5 come opening day.
