As I said in the Pujols thread, if Stark's report is correct, I'd rather sign Buehrle or Wilson. We really need another starter.

The later years of Pujols' contract would be all kinds of scary.

If we have to trade Gaby+ for another starter than do so. Our rotation isn't that bad to be honest right now. Johnson-Nolasco-Sanchez is a pretty good 1-3.

Pujols - this is a no brainer for me.

If we sign Pujols, Gaby and LoMo are expendable for 1 (possibly 2) pitchers, one of which will probably be Gio. So signing Pujols will probably mean an offseason of Pujols/Bell/Reyes/Gio. Yeah, that's amazing.
