      Shouldn't be any issues BUT.....

IF you see a guy with his RAPE FACE on, don't make eye contact and SLOWLY back off the trolley.

That's why you're on the trolley.

the trolley was pretty good, got to civic at about 11:50 (late) and waited maybe 5 minutes for the trolley and was at the park 5 minutes after that. the trip home (palmetto station area) was more complicated but still it wasnt bad. granted, this was fanfest where people go at different times and not an actual game with crowds of 30,000that need to be there around 7 so i guess we'll see.

How long do you figure the whole trip took you?

I know you work in Doral, do you think the MIA station opening up later this year would be more convenient for you?

the trip to the stadium took me about 50 minutes, the trip home took a little over an hour.

my work schedule doesnt let me attend any games on days i work (which is why i didnt go with a ticket plan) but if it did, id still probably take the palmetto station because its closer.

Yuck. 50 minutes makes me weary of taking MetroRail. Very important to note that MetroRail runs more trains during rush hour.

Omar and I are going to try driving and MetroRail this week. We'll report the travel times.

Yikes. Took me 33 min to get there and I live 5 min south of Boca.

This is the reason I just decided to get the parking pass.

im sorry, the train ride itself took 35 minutes, for some reason the train stopped at the mlk station for a long time, the trip was actually suppose to take less than 30 minutes. the rest of the time came from waiting for the trolley and the trolley trip itself.

Day 1: Omar and I decided to drive to the stadium. From his house in South Miami (roughly Bird and the 826) it took 18 minutes going against traffic. Parking/leaving was not a major chore. 5 minutes to park and 15 to jump on the Dolphin after the game, however, 10 minutes of that was me taking a shortcut that turned out to not be a shortcut. We were dealing with a crowd of maybe 4,000 by the end of the game.

Very important that if you decide to go, park in the garages and remember that depending on what side you're on (west or east) you will not be allowed to go the other direction. Traffic out of the NE garages flows east only and vice versa with the west garage. Traffic is guided by off duty police officers and ballpark traffic takes priority to neighborhood traffic.

Tomorrow we will try MetroRail, which stops at the University Station on the 6s during rush hour going northbound.

you mentioned parking in the garages, i bought parking in one of the surface lots for a regular season game that ill be in too much of a rush for public transportation, you think that could be a problem?

was talking to a friend of mine who im going with to tomorrows game, wont be able to head out till about 6:30 from his cousins house in north miami/biscayne, hoping we'll get there and park by the 1st inning.

When I go to games, I will not park in the garages. I can't imagine there being too many options that will get people out of the area slower than the garages.
