Bonifacio - He will be cheap in arbitration so no real benefit in buying him out, but if they want to give him a 2012-2013, sure. I wouldn't go 3 because he will want "starter" money and he might not be that by then.
Mujica - I wouldn't buy him out because he's not going to see saves and will remain cheap. Relievers are volatile. I'd say Cishek/Ceda will end up being next in line for saves and not him.
Anibal - Tough call. Based on having JJ, Buerhle, and hypothetically CJ under contract, I'd let him walk, take the draft pick, and use his money and find a reliable 4. He will get a big pay day if he pitches well and he knows it, meaning there is no discount in a deal here.

I'd say Stanton and Morrison after 2012 if they are awesome, and that's really it. Gaby, Bonifacio, Coghlan, Hayes, relievers, Volstad if he survives.... those are year to year guys. I like them all for who they are, but no need to lock them down for 3-5.

You have to wonder what is up the Marlins sleeve for today. We are willing to trade Gaby and prospects for pitching and this can get interesting. Like you guys, I'm all in for signing hammer for one year and if anything platoon him in LF if he doesn't do too well. We just need 2 more years, maybe less, out of some guys in LF and then we can call-up Christian Yelich.
