By August, that will be 10 players on the Marlins roster that were drafted.
That's pretty fucking great for an event that is basically a crapshoot/a team that isn't in the best financial situation to be keeping all of their players.
If there's a problem, it certainly isn't the draft.
Quite honestly, there have been years lately when the difference between making the playoffs and not making the playoffs was the Miguel Cabrera trade.
That's been one of the few mistakes (results-wise because, in hindsight, we were getting two top ten prospects in the deal) that this front office has made. It just so happens that the Miguel Cabrera mistake was really terrible, and teams with a small payroll can't afford to make such mistakes and get away with it. It's really that simple.
