By the way, Brian Sanches had only pitched twice since May 9th. Last pitched, May 15th.

Ryan Webb had pitched a total of 5.1 innings this month. He last appeared on Monday for 2/3 of an inning; his prior appearance before that was on May 13th for an inning against Washington.

If these guys are going to start their "burn out" after that workload, they should probably pursue other careers.

Because I'd rather have a reliever taking up meaningless innings to save the rest of the bullpen than have a bench player who does absolutely nothing for this team, aside from sitting on the bench (Ozzie Martinez).

I'd send the Hopper down when Baker finally comes back.

I was upset that the Marlins weren't scoring runs until I logged into the Game Thread and saw that we were facing some guy no one had heard of and that had Javquez's numbers. I stopped being upset as I instantly understood.
