Marlins Recall Cishek

The Florida Marlins have recalled right-handed pitcher Steve Cishek from Triple-A New Orleans. The Tennessee native owned a 2 ERA in 11 games out of the Zephyrs' bullpen. The Marlins added Cishek to replace right-handed starter Javy Vazquez who was placed on the bereavement list on Tuesday.

He'll be lucky to pitch at all if Vazquez comes off the bereavement list Friday. Unless he stays with the team through Saturday and Vazquez gets activated before his start on Sunday.
