If you're gonna have Choate warming up, he should've definitely faced Rasmus in the 7th inning, considering that's really the only lefty the Cardinals have in their lineup.

Didn't mind the move to go to Hensley with 2 outs either; he just threw a terrible pitch. While the sample is obviously not too telling, Clay's been kinda terrible this year.

I was ok with the move to Hensley too, but Webb put those other two men on (and got the loss because of that). I was like "oh no" when I saw that pitch was headed to the middle of the plate. Oh well.

Vazquez against Carpenter... not a good match up on paper.

Well, on paper, we didn't have a chance yesterday against Lohse. On paper we should've won the Johnson game the other day in Cincy. Who knows what'll happen - and I won't be surprised if Vazquez doesn't do well - but you know how it is, not everything goes like it's supposed to on paper lol.

He has been pretty bad the last few series. He's walking a lot of people and seems like he has been putting people on base all the time. Going back to the Colorado series he has had several bad outings.
