JJ must be using an aimbot, he's been incredible this season. It's just a shame the bullpen took away his win today, and Sandro took away his no hitter. At least Stanton took back the game for us.

          Hanley makes me disappoint.

Opinions on pitching to Tulo with 1B open in the 8th?

Either way, Stanton hit a bomb, JJ was great, and Infante was great, as well.

Should have walked him and brought in a lefty to face Giambi/Helton
                --------------------
even a lefty vs Wigginton would have been better

Probably should have walked him, but if you do and the next guy gets a hit it's even worse.

It's probably about even on whether either one is a better move.

I'd have walked, and let Dunn/Choate take care of whoever bats of Giambi, Smith, and Helton as none of them can hit lefties. It's just like that Cousins play where he let the ball drop with Wright hitting. Get out, or out of the way, their best hitter and make the shmucks beat you.

                        I felt the same way.
Thought Dunn should've faced whoever was not Troy Tulowitzki in that situation.

Dunn's been untouchable whenever he throws strikes, btw.

I walk Tulo too. You can't let him beat you.

I think, at this point of the season, you trust your setup man to get out of the jam. Later on in the year, you probably walk him.
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.
