If he's getting lucky on 1-3 strikeouts in 6-7 innings like he was a bit earlier, I'm worried.

But if he's gonna strike out a batter per inning or so, he'll be fine. Especially if he keeps a 9-to-1 K:BB ratio. He's gonna get shelled 1/4 times out there, but as long as he's striking guys out, he'll give us an exceptional chance to win the other 3 times out.

The last two starts for him are encouraging for my confidence. I think him and JJ will put us in a good position to win 75% of the time. That is a good thing.
We need a 3rd starter to give us close to those percentages.. I don't see Sanchez, Voldud or Vasquez giving us anywhere close to that.

Sanchez showed he was capable of that last year.

          I think Anibal's fine.

His first start he had 7 K's in 5.2 innings.
In Houston, he just had some shit luck on a lot of the hits he allowed, and it's the main reason why his overall #'s look so bad, thus far.
He had a quality start in Philly.

Either way, his stuff seems fine, and I think he'll be a fine #3.

Vazquez and Volstad are rather shitty right now, though.
