    cote reminded me:

Stanton's double was awesome. He hit that thing absurdly hard. Too hard for Coghlan to score.

      From Cote's article:

Odd words coming from the guy who recently penned an article saying the Marlins front office needed to make a big splash signing in free agency in order to be all of those things he listed.

I really liked both those articles. The second one kinda gave me goosebumps for some reason.

There arent really any free agents to make a splash with this offseason, outside of Pujols, Fielder, and Adrian Gonzalez. I guess Aaron Hill, Brandon Phillips, and Grady Sizemore if their options are declined.

Todd, the "splash" Cote had in mind was spending millions on Michael Young.

Fair enough. If Arizona once again gets rumored to trade Justin Upton I figure they will get in on that, along with pretty much every other team.
