Hopper is gonna be the one that goes down.. Mujica isn't going anywhere and Sanches cause he is outta options stays... Hopper will be the 1st RP up if someone goes down to injury or performs shitty.Comment

I can see it go either way, honestly. Sanches has done well for the Marlins the past two years, so it's not like he "deserves" to get cut. I think with Hopper still having options might have the Marlins say "look, Sanches has done well. Hopper can go down and give up depth without losing anyone."LHP Chad James-Jupiter Hammerheads-

I also doubt with as well as Sanches has pitched in the last two years that he clears waivers. If they pick Hopper over Sanches, we're probably going to lose Sanches and lose our depth at relief pitching. It makes everything easier to send Hopper to AAA so we don't lose anyone.Comment

I'm both shocked and excited the Fish did this.
I'm excited because he has been great for us the past 2 seasons.
Shocked because I thought the Fish were going to option him down, and he was going to get picked up by the Mets through waivers. lol.
Very pumped for Friday to get here already. I'll be at the practice they're holding on Thursday too.Comment
