Grady's value is very low right now, and he is a CF who bats from the left side with pop. Aside from his contract, he would be a very attractive piece if healthy.

I'm not sure we have the pieces to trade for him, unless Cleveland like absolutely has to get out from under that contract. He's still a pretty useful player and CF is BY FAR the weakest position in baseball now. It's like late 90's catcher weak.

The payroll is the factor for us. We're already a little over what they were expecting us to be. I can't see us adding another $7+ million to our payroll without them either eating his salary or taking some salary back on.
