  • Cameron Maybin Traded to Padres for Ryan Webb and Edward Mujica

The nightmare is over. Article and more serious stuff as it's published.

    UPDATE 1 @ 4:26 PM:

San Diego Padres RP Ryan Webb is doing better following a change...[+] in his delivery that was developed by pitching coach Darren Baisley, according to MLB.com's Corey Brock. Baisley altered Webb's delivery, dropping his arm slot to change the eye level and the view that hitters had of the ball coming out of his hand. 'This was a change for Ryan's career, not necessarily to help the Padres, but more for it to help him in the future,' Balsley said. 'It's a huge credit to him. Doing that takes a lot of courage ... to make a drastic change like that. It showed me he was mentally tough.'

What nightmare? You mean the whole Cabs trade? My initial reaction here is disappointment.

Mujica great k/bb ratio but homers are a bit alarming. Still like him.

Mujica's pretty cool, but with the HRs people are probably gonna hate him like they did Kevin Gregg even if he's effective most of the time.

Webb should be a nice back of the bullpen guy.

This trade is kind of for me. I guess.
