I'm not aware of the interview rules of the MLB. If he doesn't have an out or a buyout, the Mets would have to pay the remainder of Jennings contract with the Marlins to release him from his contract /unsure

Looks like the Marlins aren't even letting it get that far though.

eh they allowed them to interview for Cinci a few years back. I think both Hill and Jennings turned it down. I wouldn't let them go to the Mets either.
