The Florida Marlins have purchased the contracts of right-handed pitcher Sandy Rosario, infielder Ozzy Martinez, and have recalled catcher Chris Hatcher from Double-A Jacksonville.
To make room on the 40-man roster for Rosario, the Marlins have transferred outfielder Chris Coghlan from the 15 to the 60-day disabled list. The 25-year-old Rosario, who spent all but one game with Greensboro, posted a 3.52 ERA with 125 strikeouts and only 17 walks this season.
