Confidence in Volstad: Rodriguez said right-hander Chris Volstad, who starts Wednesday, has made progress in his three starts since being recalled July 25 from Class AAA New Orleans. He allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings against the Phillies in his last start Thursday.
