Ballpark as you approach from the north on 7th Street and 17th Avenue.
Homeplate at the corner of 16th Street and 16th Avenue. How things can change in 14 months.
Third base (north side) of the ballpark.
View down 16th Avenue. Just a little over a year ago 16th Avenue looked like this.
On the first base side, cinder block in enclosing the middle and upper tiers of the ballpark. You can see some of the massive air ducts that will one day cool the ballpark to a comfortable 80 degrees at gametime.
Close up of the interior on the northwest corner (homeplate) side of the ballpark.
First base side of the ballpark.
Interior walls taking shape near the homeplate entrance.
It is in the rightfield corner, but officially it is known as the First Base Entrance. One contrast from Sun Life Stadium will be the lack of helices.
Centerfield.
The only look inside the stadium from ground level was sealed off between July and August. You can now walk all the way around the ballpark on the Promenade Level.
The trees that were across the street from the ballpark on 16th Avenue have been temporarily(?) moved to the easternmost side of the construction site. One of them wasn't doing to well.
First base side of the ballpark as seen from a bus stop.
