But we have a nickname for him so his value is way more than you think

I'm ok with this. So now who do they sent down? Tank? or do they keep two lefties?

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh as in he isn't "sucking it up" in the minors

definitely think he had a shot as a legit set up guy down the road

I actually agree with Valid here. Although I would've liked to have seen RVH permanently moved to the bullpen to see how he would do, he has really shown nothing to make anyone believe that he's got a future in the majors.

I willing to roll the dice on RVH being successful in the bullpen for us in the future, then hope that Ohman will be our savior for the postseason this year

I think he (Rick) had a chance as well to one day be something useful, he is way more interesting to me than Volstad is, but it is what it is. Not going to whine about this.

Uhhhh as in will ohman has a 1.40 K/BB vs lefties this year and is super mediocre, while RVH is still young and cheap. Giving him up for a mediocre rental reliever is awful.

Ohman was born in Germany so we're making inroads there

His WHIP is below average, he has a high ERA, and he isn't striking that many guys out. He isn't very good.

I don't mind losing RVH and think he's been overrated on here for awhile because he has a MASSIVE hr problem and likely won't put up the K/BB Ricky does to overcome it (And, his HR problem is a lot worse than Ricky's is). For me personally, he was maybe an average reliever.

But like with Voss/Robertson, it's not what we gave up, but more that I hate what we got to the point where I don't understand why we gave up what we gave up for it.
