Uh, having seen Luna play third a few times the last month, I think we actually just got worse at third base unless Helms or Murphy become the everyday third baseman.

Yeah, that's what I meant. He made an error in the game I attended in NOLA an about 2 or 3 more in other games I watched on milb.tv. It was bad.

What I don't get is, if we're calling up a guy to put at third base and split time with 2-3 other guys, why didn't they just bring back Barden? He could be the late inning, defensive replacement guy. All Luna will be good for is pinch hitting because you really don't want him to play third.

Jeez if anything Luna will just be a PH'ing option while Murphy/Helms man 3b. They probably prefer keeping the young guys down to get everyday AB's so Luna is perfect for that PH spot.
