This is not a minor league filler kind of guy or a major league retread kind of guy. This is a 21 year old prospect that I really don't want to ruin.

LHP James Houser will be used as a situational lefty (That means I was wrong yesterday when I assumed he might pitch long relief) and RHP Alex Sanabia will be used more as a long guy.

“He’s a strike-thrower which is important given the way we’ve been challanged out there throwing strikes,” Beinfest said of Sanabia, who was called up from Class AA Jacksonville.

“The ability to throw strikes was attractive and he has thrown up big numbers in double-a. We thought he could handle it.”
