Wow, Frisaro speculates Ceda. Really? Like come on dude. The guy has been out for over a year and has only appeared in 7 games.

            Really dumb (calling up Sanabia).

He's the kind of pitcher/prospect that made us move to NoLa.

he's not groundbally, he's flyball-y. He'll probably bit sitting around a 40% fb rate, same as Ricky.

                Huh.

I thought he was a groundbally guy.

That makes me feel even worse about this one.

                  personally I like it

see if you can catch lightning in a bottle. Our bullpen is horrible now, we need some back of the rotation guys. That means either making a trade or hoping someone from within can step into that role. Let's see what the most effective SP this year in our upper minors can do.

It's not like having him as a RP for half a year is gonna stunt him as a starter.

But if you're going to say that, why not Marinez who by all accounts has better stuff and profiles as the reliever.

Marinez 7 scoreless, 1.00 whip, 5 k, in AA after blowing up Jupiter. Numbers are just going to keep piling up. I like Sanabia, but this seems like a super rush job. Even more so than what Marinez would be.

I believe Marinez has to be added to the 40 man roster this yr so pretty sure will see him before the yr is over.

I know I shouldn't be surprised but I can't believe we are rushing sanabia and pitching him in relief

I thought the Marlins moved to New Orleans because they were the last ones to say not it.

I think it's probably not going to work out, and it's definitely surprising, but hey, nothing else has worked. Why not call up a guy with moderate upside and see if he can find success

I like him to pitch well more than Houser.

First because Marinez has more upside so if you break him it's more of a loss. Second because Marinez is having success solely because of his strike outs which aren't going to carry over to the extent they are now in the major leagues. His bad control will, his fly balls will, him not having a a second pitch after his fastball for left handers will.

Though I did wanna throw Marinez in the fire but I understand why not
