Allison has 17 strikeouts in 51 AA innings. He'd be amazing in the bigs.

He's a lefty who can't get lefties out.

Right, except with less effective stuff.

Pinto's better than him, whoever this other guy we'll call up from AA is, and a couple of guys still currently in our bullpen.

And I absolutely hate him, but it's the truth.

Uncomfirmed, but someone on the other board is saying it's Sanabia, as per the Jax Times Union.

I don't see anything on their website, so I'm assuming it's bullshit because it makes no sense, but there it is.

Starting pitcher Alex Sanabia was promoted to the Florida Marlins following the game. Sanabia was 5-1 with a 2.03 ERA, second in the league. He is the second Suns player to be promoted directly to the Marlins this season. Mike Stanton was called up two weeks ago.

Seriously - similar press release is on the Suns website

Alex Sanabia was promoted to the Florida Marlins following Sunday's game. Sanabia was 5-1 with a 2.03 ERA, the second-best ERA in the Southern League. His .194 average against was the lowest among Southern League starters.

The organization has him on the Mejía development track, I guess.

I'm not sure finesse-y groundball-y 22 year olds make good fire ballin' relievers.

He's the new long reliever/Badenhop replacement!

I don't think Sanabia has a future as a starter and I'm pretty sure they feel his FB plays better out of the pen.

                                so starters are relievers now
                                although he has good control
