We have a day off tomorrow, that's why they waited.

Also, I'm expecting Leroux and Badenhop unless Leroux isn't ready. Then I don't know who. Maybe Jose Veras, who has pitched better of late but who still likely sucks.

Leroux left yesterday's game with an injury so I doubt it's him.
I would have thought that they would have done it for today with as many pitchers as we used yetserday but I guess that's why they waited to have Robertson and Nolasco throw their side sessions.
The only possible explanation for calling Miller up is to get him working intensively with St. Claire and to use him in a very specialized role so as to limit the damage he could do.

Like if we need an intentional walk?
I'm sure there's stuff they can do for the 40. Like maybe DFA Sinkbeil, that guy is awful.

That is a possibility. If they do, they may be outrighting him right now. That's where they put him through waivers and no one knows (not like being designated) and after two days if he clears it is announced that "RHP Brett Sinkbeil is outrighted to Triple-A New Orleans" even if he's already there. They did that to pitchers Ross Wolf and Scott Tyler a few years ago.

They had better not be fucking rushing Jhan Marinez. That would actually be worse than bringing back Miller.
Looking at that roster, there aren't exactly alot of "ideal" candidates. If they're bringing up Houser then they probably aren't bringing up Jennings, because Houser's a lefty and they wouldn't need three lefties in the bullpen for Fredi to inexplicably use against RHP. Sanabia isn't ready and he's a starter. Villanueva would probably look alot like Graham Taylor if he were called up.
Koehler's got decent numbers but he's a starter. Gunderson also has reasonable numbers but he's only been in AA a short period of time. Korpi's a lefty.
Matt Petersen's the closer down there and he has okay numbers. Nothing special. He'll probably get bashed but he's an option, I suppose. If I had to put money on someone, I'd guess it's going to be him. He's older anyway, so it's not like we're going to ruin him by bringing him up.
Of course, there's the most intriguing option: maybe it's Jeff Allison. I doubt Allison will last in the bigs, but it would be pretty cool to see him make it to the majors after all he's been through, even if it's under these circumstances and he's not likely to stick around for a long period of time.

He just started today, doubt he'll be called up.
