Probably from the whiplash effect of watching so many of his pitches getting smoked.

So Sanches is probably our new long reliever.

If we do choose to skip the next 5th starter spot (we have an offday on Monday) and go with Nolasco on Friday on full rest, the next 5th starter spot would be Tuesday, August 11th at home against the Astros. Whoever makes that start would have to make a second start on the homestand (16th against the Rockies).
                --------------------
In fact, days we have to use the 5th starter if we maximize the rotation using offdays and do not start anyone on short rest:

                8/11
                8/16
                8/22
                9/1
                9/6
                9/12
                9/17
                9/22 (doubleheader)
                9/29

September 29th is a prime candidate for sending someone out on short rest I think. We have bad luck with two of those days because we have offdays the day after a 5th starter appearance that forces us to not skip them the next time because Nolasco/Johnson would be on 3 days rest.

God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

Why do our pitchers always seem to suffer from the most ridiculous injuries?
This is a Dolphins town, though.
