According to the Marlins and Hunt/Moss the ballpark is now 34% complete. Site preparation began on the former site of the Orange Bowl exactly one year ago this month.

This week also brought the passage of two major milestones in the new stadium's construction. On Tuesday, the Marlins and Daktronics unveiled their plans to install high definition video boards, ribbon boards and out-of-town scoreboards throughout the new stadium.
Yesterday, the first section of the fixed portion of the dome was raised behind the homeplate area.The 24,000 pound beam marks the beginning of a 15 month process to assemble and raise the retractable roof. Portions of the roof will be assembled on the western parcel of the site (which has a ballfield). Cranes will be used to lift the roof panels to their permanent home on the tracks at the north and south ends of the stadium site.
