With his 2010 struggles, especially considering his contract, many feel Perez should be benched, or sent to the minors, or cut. I believe he drafted Wright and Kazmir and even signed Reyes.

Granted he almost traded Wright to the Jays...but still he did a solid job.

He traded Kazmir for what? Victor Zambrano, a guy who was out of the league in a year. Granted they(the mets FO) thought Kazmir wasn't expected to last physically. He was thought to blow his arm out early on his career.(Nolan Ryan anyone?)
