Even more wiki gold:
So far in the 2010 season with the New York Mets, Oliver Perez has stunk up the entire New York metropolitan area with his ugly disgrace of something that vaguly resembles pitching. With a ERA over 1,000.00 he may be heading toward an early career dismissal from the MLB.
With his 2010 struggles, especially considering his contract, many feel Perez should be benched, or sent to the minors, or cut. GM Omar "Fiya" Minaya is rumored to have no intentions of cutting Perez, because the move would show that he made a mistake and would be outed as a low-end GM. A team that can afford to pay Perez the $20,000,000+ remaining on his deal should be able to afford to pay him that to not pitch for their club, since he cannot be counted on. Perez is rumored to be known around Major League Baseball as the worst free agent signing in history. Oliver was never able to be reached for comment on the rumor, as he was too busy counting his money waiting for his next outing in which to give up four home runs and walk six batters, all under the thumbs up of Minaya.God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

Minaya is still much better than Phillips, me thinks.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."
