    ok.

Then right now, the marlins' record/productivity says they are a .563 team, or 91+ wins.

So if that's your criteria, then I don't know what you are so consistently down on this team for.

Unless you believe the Astros' current record is indicative of who they are but the Marlins' isn't.

By the way, I just read the very short game thread. Matsui is the player that got hurt in the injury delay.

Show me where in the forum guidelines it says I can't make a sarcastic post or be discouraged about my favorite team playing poorly.

We had to deal with your shit in your pre-moderator days so now you have to deal with my shit.
Not sure why you feel like you need to involve my title in this. I know my attitude back then annoyed a lot of people and I made it an effort to change that. So if you want to continue being an asshole for no reason keep going but I'm not going to be bothered by it anymore.

Am I the only one who forgot that MH was even a moderator? It's not like he's been swinging a big dick or anything.

I'm a moderator to manage the daily game thread closing/post game material along with the time there were a bunch of spammers. Other than that I im not involved in much else. Just to make sure topics are in the right sections ect.

Bob when you watch Marlins games do you see a 91 win team? Serious question.

Maybe, just maybe they win 88 because they can beat up on NYM and WAS once a week. But that's a big maybe.

I'm getting a lot of shit for being down on the team right now so I'll just drop it.

I see a team that is not playing as good as their record would indicate but apparently I'm the only one and just being a Debbie Downer.

generally speaking, there's almost no real difference in talent between an 88 win team and a 92 win team, but that's not even the point.

Why are the Astros not a .500 team? Are you judging their record or the team itself? In a weak division like the NLC, they have enough talent to be .500.

You are holding the Marlins to a different standard because you've seen them more so you are overanalyzing them. Which is fine, but if the Astros aren't a .500 team, why do you think the Marlins aren't as good as their record?

Being critical is fine. But you're losing your shit because they lost 2/3 to a mediocre team while ignoring that they held a world series favorite to 6 runs in a 3 game series on the road in a bandbox.

If the lineup keeps being strong and the starters follow the trend they've been on the last week (what, 7 QS out of 8 or something?) this team can absolutely be a 91 win team. Do I expect it? No. But it's absolutely possible. If you can't see all of the positives about this team then I don't know what to say.
